The racecourse is located on Lansdown Hill, just to the north of Bath city centre.

Access from the Motorway (M4):

The closest motorway junction is Junction 18 of the M4.

From M4 J18, take the A46 south towards Bath.

Continue on the A46 for approximately 6 miles.

As you approach Bath, follow signs for Bath Racecourse and Lansdown. You will turn off the A46 onto local roads leading up to the racecourse.

Access from Bath City Centre:

From the centre of Bath, head north towards Lansdown.

Take Lansdown Road and follow it as it ascends Lansdown Hill.

Continue on Lansdown Road for several miles, following signs for Bath Racecourse. The racecourse entrance will be on your right towards the top of the hill.

Access from Surrounding Areas:

From the North (e.g., Stroud, Gloucester): Take the A46 south towards Bath. Continue past the M4 J18 and follow the A46 towards Bath, then follow signs for the Racecourse/Lansdown as above.

From the South/South West (e.g., Bristol, Wells):

Via Bath: Travel into Bath via the A4 or other routes, then follow directions from Bath City Centre up Lansdown Road. Be aware of potential traffic congestion in Bath city centre, especially on a weekend.
